A recent study found that very few Americans actually live up to the standards required for healthy living. The Archives of Internal Medicine study found that only 3 percent of American adults scored 100% on the four criteria of healthy living. Only 13.8% of Americans met all three criteria, while 34.2% only met two. The scores of women were slightly higher than those of men.

  • Smile often and have a good time laughing out loud. It is essential. It helps you stay grounded and cope with difficult situations. To bring out your happy feelings, you can read comics, watch sitcoms, or make jokes.
  • Find solace by praying, meditation, or praying every day, at least 10-20 mins. Meditation is good for the soul. It helps you deal with daily demands and can even lower your stress levels.
